Smoothies are an easy and fast way to get the nutrients you need to stay on track and not feel food deprived, as you may feel when trying a new "diet". They are great for when you are on the go or just need something quick to snack on. If you add a healthy source of fat (like 1 tbsp coconut oil) to this smoothie, it could be a full meal replacement! And plus, this smoothie has us in the halloween spirit, so try it out :)

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • ¾ cup water
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Vega® Chlorella (probably doesn't impact taste of shake, but still good for you!)
  • 1 scoop Essential Base Vanilla Protein powder
 

Preparation:

  1. Blend all ingredients together in blender and enjoy within 45 minutes post-workout or whenever you please!
