This Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms recipe may be the most simple, most delicious side dish possible. It is not only perfect for a Thanksgiving side dish, but also for a week day dinner side. Add in a piece of grilled chicken or steak, maybe some brown rice, and you have a delicious cleanse-friendly meal!

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Toss together all ingredients and spread out on a 15x10-inch baking pan. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes
