PEPPER- TURKEY BURGERS

Ingredients:
- 1 lb 99% extra-lean ground turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 zucchini, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 avocado
- Olive oil spray
- Handful of chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F
- Place all ingredients (except avocado) into a large mixing bowl and combine. Season meat with red pepper flakes (if desired for extra spice)
- Form meat into 3-9 patties, about 1 – 1 ½ inches thick (Option to make "sliders" to cook faster and avoid falling apart)
- Place a large skillet on the stove on medium and use an olive oil spray to coat the pan
- Brown the burger patties on each side, cooking for about 5 minutes a side
- move turkey burgers to casserole dish and bake in oven at 350 F for 15 minutes- turn over to cook for additional 15 minutes
- Top each serving with 1/4-1/3 avocado, serve, and enjoy!
