GREENS BEANS

Ingredients:
- 2 pound green beans, trimmed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 lemon, squeezed
- 1 TBSP lemon zest
- 1 TSP red pepper flakes
- Olive oil spray
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Heat a stock pot on medium once it is brought to a boil drop the green beans to the pot. Blanch them in the hot water for about 2 minutes until they are nice and crisp. Transfer them to a bowl with ice water so you stop the cooking.
- Heat olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a medium saucepan. Once fragrant place the green beans and coat them well for about five minutes. Season with lemon zest and salt/pepper and serve!
